Description
Split chana dal is produced from whole Bengal gram after splitting and removing the outer skin, reducing cooking time while retaining much of its nutritional profile. It provides high levels of protein, essential amino acids, fibre, and B‑vitamins, plus minerals such as iron and phosphorus. Its flavour is mildly nutty and earthy. The texture turns creamy but with some body when cooked, matching well with temperings of cumin, mustard, garlic, or onions. Easy on digestion, especially if soaked beforehand. Works well in both vegetarian and mixed diets, offering a satisfying, filling meal. Grown with love on our farms in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
