We started because we believed food should be honest.
GroPure Organic was born in 2016 from a simple conviction — that every Indian family deserves food grown without compromise, at a price that doesn't ask them to choose between health and affordability.
A question Rekha couldn't stop asking.
Why is it so difficult to buy food that's simply grown the right way?
That question sat with Rekha Chandak — a Delhi University graduate with a deep concern for what her family was eating and what synthetic chemicals were quietly doing to India's soil. She didn't come from farming. She came from conviction.
"We believe it's better to have a Family Farmer than a Family Doctor."
In 2016, she and her husband Pankaj — a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Durgapur with an MBA from IMI New Delhi — walked away from the certainty of corporate careers and started GroPure Organic on 30 acres outside Pune. No pesticides. No synthetic fertilisers. Just Jeevamrut, drip irrigation, crop rotation, and the patience that good farming demands.
They began in bulk — growing and supplying organic crops to distributors. As demand grew and the gap between farm and family became more visible, they made the shift to direct-to-consumer, bringing organic food straight to Indian households without the middlemen, the markups, or the mystery.

Three convictions that drive everything we do.
Our Mission
Supply safe, healthy, nutrient-rich and affordable food to every household using eco-friendly, sustainable farming. Empower marginalised farmers for lasting, generational change — not seasonal transactions.
Our Vision
Become the preferred choice for organic food across India — supporting improved health, environmental respect, and farmer dignity for households everywhere. From one farm in Pune to every kitchen in India.
Our Philosophy
Healthier food and happier farmers through organic cultivation, full transparency, and sustainable livelihoods for small-scale farming communities. We believe the two are inseparable — you cannot have one without the other.
"Every family in India deserves access to food grown the way nature intended — without synthetic pesticides, without compromise"— The founding belief behind GroPure Organic, since 2016
How we grow what you eat.

Helping Marginal Farmers
We work directly with farmer families across MP and Maharashtra — providing organic farming training, guaranteed buyback arrangements, and fair pricing. Every GroPure crop puts money in a farmer's hands, not a trader's.

Nurturing Rural Communities
We invest in the communities behind our farms. Skill development, access to education and healthcare for women and children, and environmental stewardship — because sustainable farming begins with sustainable people.

Sustainable Farming
Drip irrigation, cover crops, natural pest management, crop rotation and Jeevamrut fertiliser. Every practice we use gives back to the soil as much as it takes — keeping our land healthy for the next generation.
Ambitious goals. Honest methods.
What we've built since 2016 is just the beginning. Here's where GroPure is headed — and every step is grounded in the same principles that started it all.

Health above everything
Cultivate and distribute organic food that prioritises human health and environmental sustainability above all else — always.
Farmer independence
Empower marginal farmer families through training and guaranteed buyback — creating economic independence, not dependency.
3,000+ acres by 2027
Expand our organic farmland through angel and community investment — growing capacity without growing chemical use.
Retail presence across India
Bring GroPure to retail shelves and store networks across India — not just screens. Clean food deserves to be everywhere.
Agro-Tourism resorts
Launch Agro-Tourism resorts on our farms — connecting urban India with the land that feeds it, and creating new income for our farming communities.
10–15% year-on-year growth
Grow productivity through sustainable techniques that the wider organic sector can learn from and replicate.

Organic isn't a trend. It's a return to how food was always meant to be.
The case for organic is simple: food grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers is safer for you, better for the farmer who grew it, and kinder to the soil it came from.
At GroPure, we don't ask you to take that on faith. We show you the farm, the farmer, and the process. Because food you can trace is food you can trust.
No synthetic inputs, ever— Zero pesticides, zero synthetic fertilisers. Not sometimes. Always.
Direct from our farms— No middlemen between our fields and your kitchen. What we grow, you get.
Certified and traceable— Third-party certified, renewed annually. Ask us where anything came from.
Fair pricing— Organic food shouldn't be a luxury. We keep prices honest without cutting corners.
Farmer-first economics— Every purchase supports a guaranteed buyback for the farmer who grew it.
