Our story

We started because we believed food should be honest

It began with a question Rekha Chandak couldn't stop asking: why is it so difficult to find food that is simply grown the right way? As a Delhi University graduate with a deep concern for what her family was eating — and what chemicals were doing to the soil beneath their feet — she saw a gap between what Indian farms could offer and what markets were actually delivering.

In 2016, she and her husband Pankaj — a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Durgapur with an MBA from IMI Delhi — made a decision that surprised everyone around them. Pankaj walked away from a successful corporate career. Together, they started GroPure Organic on 30 acres outside Pune, using age-old Indian farming methods: Jeevamrut fertiliser, natural pest management, drip irrigation, and nothing that didn't belong in the soil.

Radhika Chandak, a filmmaking graduate from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, brings a rare creative lens to the brand — translating GroPure's farm-to-table philosophy into compelling visual stories. Her passion for authentic storytelling and sustainable living makes her the creative voice behind GroPure's brand strategy. "Every meal tells a story — ours is one of love for the soil, and care for the people we feed."

Aryan Somani, a Delhi-based BBA graduate from GGSIPU, leads business development strategy with a singular focus — making clean, chemical-free food accessible to every urban household. "Organic food isn't a Luxury — It's a Right. Real health begins at the dinner table."

Today, GroPure farms across 1,300+ acres in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and the Konkan region — with 25 dedicated team members, 7 Farm sites, and a product range covering Grains, Pulses, Spices, Superfoods, Herbs and Sweeteners.
