Retaining the outer skin, whole masoor sabut offers appreciable dietary fiber and micronutrients that skinned versions lose. Organically grown, free from chemical processing, preserving natural proteins, vitamins, and minerals. When cooked, it holds its shape better, giving defined texture and bite. Slightly longer cook time than skinned masoor, but the flavour is richer, earthier. Useful in dishes mixing pulses, or for lentil salads.
