Description

This flour comes from whole jowar grains, meaning skin, endosperm and germ are retained, which holds much of the fibre, vitamins, and minerals usually lost in refined flours. When used in rotis, parathas or mixed with other flours, it contributes a nutty, mildly sweet flavour and hearty texture. High in complex carbs and fibre, it helps with digestion, longer satiety, and more stable blood sugar. It is also rich in B‑vitamins and minerals (iron, calcium, etc.). Because of its naturally gluten‑free profile, it can benefit those avoiding wheat. Proper hydration in dough helps achieve better pliability and softness.
